Whisteria and Whit were preparing for the meeting as well as other wolves. The small camp seemed to all be trying to prepare. Whisteria licked her paws. Whit payed no attention to his sister. "You worry too much. This will probably be a checkup meeting," Whisteria said.
"I don't think so. This meeting sounds pretty intense." Whit scratched behind his ear.

And the bears aren't that stupid to have challenged him," MacAncient turned to the clan. "Wolves of MacAncientclan! I have some grave news." Murmurs of fear rose from the crowd of wolves and she silenced them with a flick of her tail.

"I have kept this a secret until now." MacAncient paused. "Sharptooth is murdering our clan!" There was an outburst of fearful howls from the clan. Brook drew in Lily close with her paw trying to comfort her even though she was terrified. MacAncient let them wail for a few moments then silenced them with her own howl that rang above the rest. "Fear not! I have spoken with our ancestors and they have stated that the white and red one will come soon. The one who will save us all!"
