Nightki jumped excitedly as ancientstar began. MorningGlory looked at her excited baby and smiled. I think she might turn out right, she thought.
"Yeah!" Nightkit jumped as morningglory stood over her.

Nightkit's face was filled with surprise at the happy anouncement. "That's great for Twilightsbreak. She's SO nice and fun and loving!" Nightkit was jumping with excitement.
"I just hope it doesn't go to her head. Nightkit rolled her eyes.
"What a silly idea!"
Midnightkit said nothing.

Grayfur glanced at the kits and eyed Midnightkit suspiciously. He pushed his suspicion aside and padded over to congratulate Twilightbreak. "Hey congrats! I hope you are up for organizing the patrols tomorrow! If you need any help with that just ask me!" He mewed as he brushed his tail across her flank.

Midnightkit had no words left. Everything he knew was gone ever since his meeting with the amazing loners. His mind was surrounding what his life would be like with them.
Nightkit glanced nervously at her brother and sighed. His face was hard... and furry. She had nothing to say because she knew his mind was made up. "I hope you have fun being aloner." She walked away to the cave.
MorningGlory didn't know what to do about her aguing babies. All she knew was that another batch would be coming soon. It wasd hard being her.
"Mom, what's nightkit's issue?" Midnightkit asked after awhile.
"Really? That's thr first thing you say. What's your problem?" She stalked away after nightkit who was sulking on the floor.

Leaffall looked at Midnightkit with pity in her eyes. It was hard being a kit especially if you were Midnightkit. She looked over to Ancientstar as she hopped down from Highbranch. Leaffall padded over and whispered into her ear,"I suggest you make Grayfur his mentor." She flicked her tail towards the kit. "What?" the clan leader looked at her in confusion."But Grayfur doesn't want an apprentice!" Then it was replaced with understanding. "I will thank you Leaffall." Leaffall nodded and padded near Midnightkit and gestured for him to follow.

Ancientstar padded into her den to see that Moonkit hadn't come out for the clan meeting. "Is something wrong Moonkit?" she asked as she lay down beside him her tail brushing him closer to her warm belly fur.

"I can take over her duties sometimes!" she licked his forehead and yawned. "Its getting dark out lets go to sleep." she closed her eyes and sleep grabbed her quickly. She was standing in a forest much like the one in Oceanclan territory. She began to walk very cautiously into the darkness. All of the sudden she herd a wail in the distance. Terrified she broke into a run. She stopped in a small clearing that looked like the medicine cat clearing. The yowl came again and this time from the medicine cat den. She rush in to find Leaffall laying on the floor dying with a huge dog standing over her. "No!" she cried. The dog turned and glared at her as if hungry for two cats and lunged at her.
