The world was spinning beneath Nightkit's paws. She couldn't tell left from right like normal. But up and down seemed bumpy and shaking to her. Midnightkit was standing in front of her. "That's why I want to leave."
Pain burst through Nightkit. "Then I guess you hate me."
"I do." Nightkit sat down and began crying. Her fur was becoming soaked. MorningGlory said nothing to her fighting babies.
"I hate you, too!" she sobbed.
Nightkit ran out away. She knew that her clan would follow her, but she hoped they wouldn't find her soon.

Ancientstar's eyes flew open and she immediately stood, shaking with fear.

Grayfur watched the kit run from the shadows of camp. As she disappeared through the entrance he got up and stalked after her.

"I hate my stupid brother! I hope he trips and meets wolves!" she growled. She sat under a tree, sadly moaning. No one was coming for her. She had forgotten her way back, too. Nothing was going her way. Life was sucking.

Grayfur easily tracked the kit and found her sulking under the tree. "You know it could be worse," he meowed as he sat beside her.

Nightkit turned to face him. "That's a weird name. Did he want to run away, too?" She stared at her paws in the soil. Leaning against the tree, she smiled.

"Well, he did run away but he was attacked by a big tabby wild cat. Then ,as you know, he wanted to get revenge. so he went to the twoleg place and took control over the cats there. One day the same wild cat came asking for help but didn't recognize him. At the time the tabby had gained the nine lives of a leader. So when the time came for his help, he murdered the wild cat and eventually was killed by another flame colored wild cat." Grayfur looked up he could hear the scuffling of prey in the undergrowth. He extensively dropped to a hunter's crouch. barely making any noise with his feet, he stalked over to see a small plump mouse nibbling on a seed. Eminently he pounced successfully and gave it a swift bite on the neck. Grayfur stood up and carried it over to Midnightkit.
