Nightpaw couldn't help but have sympathy for Midnightpaw as he fell during training. 'Sympathy for the Devil'. She giggled and padded towards her mom, who was moping after losing all of her babies.
"Sympathy," Nightpaw whispered.

Blacksunset sighed as his own kit fell. "Midnightpaw, straighten your back legs," he whispered softly.
"As if you care."
"Don't use that tone with me!"
"I can use whatever tone I want!"
"Midnightpaw! If you want to leave so badly then do it! Or stop being annoying and listen to me!"
Midnightpaw recoiled in shock. Nightpaw gasped from behind her bush. MorningGlory stared at her mate in pure pity.
"I...can't...believe...my own father?" Midnightpaw padded sadly away. Blacksunset backed down.
