Leaffall was strolling throuh the forest looking for herbs. She walked past Snake rocks when she herd a low growl coming from the den. She froze in the clearing and watched in horror as the dogs fangs gleamed in the darkness. Without thinking she dashed to the nearest tree. The dog lumbered after her.

Nightpaw and MIdnightpaw were bickering furiously. MorningGlory watched them with her mate next to her. BlackSunset laughed as Midnightpaw slashed at his sister.

Leaffall watched as the dog barked fiercely at her from below her branch. After a couple moments, it stopped barking and started to sniff her trail that lead back to camp. Oh no! she thought. Without thinking, she jumped from her branch onto the dogs back. Her claws digging into it's fur. The dog howled with rage and jumped around, banging into trees trying to get her off. Leaffall could feel her claws digging in deeper into the dog's flesh. The dog was about to roll over when she sprang of just in time.

The small family looked up in alarm. The loud howls echoed.
"What is that?" Midnightpaw muttered in disgust.
"Shuut up," Nightpaw snapped.

The dog turned and hurtled himself at Leaffall. She quickly dove under it and clamped her jaws around the bottom of it's neck. The dog's howl gurgled as his breath was filled with blood. Leaffall closed her eyes and bit harder. All of the sudden, she felt a sharp pain in her flank as the dog reached down and bit her. She grasped the dog's throat with her claws and whispered hoarsely into it's ear,"Don't mess with my clan." She gave the final blow to the dog and it collapsed limply on the ground. Leaffall stood shaking with pain and covered with blood.

Ancientstar emerged from her den alarm struck her gaze. "Twilightsbreak!"she called. "Gather a patrol to investigate!"
(Ok I changed my mind about her dying. She can just turn to an elder.)
